Pre-Fight Preparation
Before starting the Void Intercept mission, the loading screen will show you all destructible and removable parts on the boss. For Stunning Beauty, both the core and shoulder are removable. Boss Mechanics
- Spawn and Initial Phase:
- Stunning Beauty will spawn in the middle of the arena. Her primary mechanic is teleporting towards you and stomping. This teleport is almost instant, but the stomp takes a while to land. Simply roll away three or four times and start shooting her.
- Her weak points are around her stomach area after the core is removed. You’ll see red numbers when hitting the right spots.
- Drones:
- She will spawn small drone-like enemies that aim to stun you. They become more problematic as their numbers increase. Although you don’t have to kill them, it’s recommended to do so to make the fight easier.
- Fiery Cannon and Lightning Balls:
- Stunning Beauty uses a fiery cannon that shoots multiple projectiles. These are somewhat avoidable, but dealing with them can be tricky.
- She also releases numerous lightning balls into the sky. These balls are easy to dodge; simply roll towards her or move out of their falling paths.
The Sensor Mechanic
One crucial mechanic that many players struggle with is the sensor. Throughout the fight, you’ll notice a purple bar below her health and shield bar. When this fills up, she activates the sensor.
- Sensor Activation:
- Stunning Beauty will stand still and summon a large metal ball with an eyeball above her head. If you’re in the line of sight of this eye, it will zap you, causing significant damage.
- To handle this, hide behind cover to avoid the eye’s gaze. Pop out to shoot the purple eye on the sensor and deal enough damage for it to close.
- Avoiding Drones and Lightning Strikes:
- During this phase, if the drones stun you while you’re in the open, you can’t avoid the sensor’s damage. Therefore, prioritize taking out the drones.
- Even behind cover, Stunning Beauty can drop lightning strikes on you. Watch for blue circles on the ground and roll out of them to avoid getting hit.
Tips for Success
- Always have a big piece of cover to hide behind and avoid lightning strikes.
- Keep moving to avoid both the sensor’s gaze and drone stuns.
- If you’re playing solo, this fight should be manageable by following these steps. However, in public matchmaking, make sure your teammates understand these mechanics to avoid unnecessary deaths.
